Sorry for my foreign readers if the title is in tagalog. This is an old Filipino song about taking care of our nature. It is sang by ASIN and I just remembered this song with its very big message about the reality of how our planet is deteriorating.

HOW TO START THINKING OF SAVING THE EARTH?

I think this is my first "How to" titled blog post.

Hmm... I find my title weird hahaha! It could also be "How to start and act in saving our Earth?"

Anyways whatever my title is, this article is about setting our minds in saving the Earth.

Let me start this by asking if you are a good borrower? You know, like if you borrow a book from a friend, do you take care of it and return it with no scratches, no missing pages, no pen marks? If you borrow some money, do you pay it with interest? If you borrow things, do your return them exactly the way it was when it is handed unto you and took care of it while it is in your possession?

BLOGGERS, LET'S GET INTO THE GREEN SCENE

Do you feel guilty about what is happening in our Earth today? Like are you guilty of the drought that is happening nowadays? Dams are still on their critical level and there are still places who suffer of dirty water from their pipes and to others, no water at all. Do you feel guilty of the landslides that are always on the news specifically on mountain roads going to Baguio? Don't you think you are somehow the reason why electric bills are going up as well as why oil price hike and the hurricanes and tornadoes happening around?

I am.

In my little ways, I know I am responsible of all of this. Every time I charged my laptop or open a desktop computer, Every time I watch TV and surf the net. Every flush, every bath, every brush.

I ADOPTED A TREE

For those of you who doesn't know, I used to be an online gamer. I started with Philippine ROSE Online then the Perfect World and Rohan. I met a lot of people and gained virtual friends. I love joining guilds and some of them actually were present on my wedding day.

It was in Perfect World that I joined a very cool guild who is actually already a community of gamers with amazingly different statuses in life. I am a proud member of the HOLY ORDER OF THE LIGHT.

This guild is composed of men and women of 15 - 50+ years old. Married and single, professionals and students. Whats more interesting is that we are not only virtual friends but in real life as well. We do regular meetups like watching movies, birthdays, level up events, and even on planting trees!
